Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البر والصلة باب ما جاء فى الذب عن عرض المسلم
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِىِّ عَنْ مَرْزُوقٍ أَبِى بَكْرٍ التَّيْمِىِّ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِى الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ مَنْ رَدَّ عَنْ عِرْضِ أَخِيهِ رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ النَّارَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. قَالَ وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever shields his (1) brother's honor (from slander), God will shield his face from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection." Footnotes: 1.
